Large-scale stock move taking place
12th July 2011
Due to the growth of the collections at the Moore Library since 2001, it has become necessary to undertake a major re-spacing project on the first and second floors in order that newly-acquired stock can be accommodated. After the move is complete, books with classmarks A-QA433 will be located on the second floor, while those with classmarks QA440-Z will be found on the first floor.
The move is expected to take several weeks to complete, and will inevitably generate some noise on the top two floors of the building, meaning that the lower-ground floor is likely to prove the quietest place to work over the summer. It will take time for the signage to catch up with the change in physical location of the stock, so if you have any difficulty locating stock during or after the move, please do ask Library staff for help.
