Arthur Bliss Archive Homepage

The manuscripts, printed editions, and sound recordings of his music, letters, programmes, photographs, papers and a small selection of books and music from his library were bequeathed to the Cambridge University Library by Lady Bliss who dies in 2008. Much of the material was placed on deposit between 1980 and 1992. The remainder was transferred to the Library in 2009, when the archive became the property of the Library.

The Music Department has a a hand list of the deposit.

All the published music and compact discs are catalogued on the library online catalogue. A hand list of the programmes is available on this web site (see drop-down menu bar above). Catalogues or handlists of the of other parts of the archive (manuscripts, photographs, letters, writings, etc.) are in preparation.
