Electronic Fetching
This service is for requesting material not available on the open shelves. This includes all material over both 10 years old and, in some cases, 2 years old. Also titles that are not currently taken, even if published within the last 10 years, will need to be fetched.
All CSL periodical holdings are listed on the Online Public Access Catalogue and this should be referred to when establishing whether a title will need fetching or is available on the open shelves. You will also find the classmark here and we would ask if this could be entered on the request whenever possible.
Please do not use this form to request items that will be available on the open shelves. Requests via the telephone are not accepted
FETCHED REQUESTS WILL BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE REQUEST BEING MADE. ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN FETCHED IT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR TWO DAYS BEFORE BEING RETURNED TO THE SHELVES. THE TWO DAYS INCLUDE THE DAY THE ITEM WAS FETCHED.
READERS WILL BE INFORMED BY EMAIL WHEN THEIR REQUEST HAS BEEN FETCHED.
