The personal archive of the musician, writer and broadcaster Deryck Cooke (1919-76) was presented to Cambridge University Library by Cooke's partner Hazel Hyde in 2010. The archive comprises manuscripts, papers, radio scripts, letters, books and music.

The material is currently being catalogued and is available on request. A temporary handlist is available. During the sorting of the archive, investigation of the material has revealed information about Cooke and his work that had not been previously available. Some of the contents and results have been described on the MusiCB3 blog and on the timeline and sections on musical works, literary works, correspondence and recordings.
