DataTrain

The DataTrain project ran between August 2010 and August 2011 and produced data management training modules for post-graduate students in Archaeology and Social Anthropology. It builds on the findings and resources developed by the Incremental Project. The modules were created by Irene Peano and Lindsay Lloyd-Smith, with support from Sian Lazar and Cameron Petrie, lecturers the Department of Social Anthropology and Department of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge. The project was funded through JISC's Managing Research Data programme (JISCMRD) and was carried out with support from the Archaeology Data Service (ADS).

During the project, the resources were piloted as part of the skills programmes in the associated departments. The resources are available online, for use by interested HEI departments and institutions throughout the world.

The materials for Archaeology are made available by the ADS.

The materials for Social Anthropology can be found as part of the University of Cambridge's institutional repository support provision.

The modules will also be deposited in Jorum.
