If you have a question about managing electronic research files and cannot find the answer from this website or your local support staff, the people and offices listed below may be able to provide some help and one-on-one support. If you need this information for a project bid or plan, it is important to give them as much notice as possible.

University Computing Service Help Desk

The UCS Help Desk can answer questions on university services (e.g. Hermes e-mail), plus some questions on common software and on information security.


UCS Service Desk: Hardware Support

If your hard drive fails, or you face other hardware problems, UCS has a paid service that may be able to help you recover your data or repair your machine.
