Overseas libraries
We are pleased to accept direct requests for inter-library loans from overseas libraries who participate in the IFLA voucher scheme and can pay with IFLA vouchers. Our standard charges are as follows:
- Photocopy of an article supplied to a library in Europe: 1 and a half IFLA vouchers.
- Photocopy of an article supplied to a library outside Europe: 2 IFLA vouchers.
- Supply of a loan to a library in Europe: 2 and a half IFLA vouchers.
- Supply of a loan to a library outside Europe: 3 IFLA vouchers.
We regret that we are unable to accept any other direct requests for inter-library loans from overseas libraries and advise that non-IFLA requests should be sent via the British Library Document Supply Centre (which will supply from its own stock wherever possible). Alternatively, if you only require a photocopy, you may contact our Library's Imaging Services who will send you an estimate of costs. NB: This may be a slower service.
