Applications are invited for the post of Library Assistant at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Library.

Main duties include the administration of circulation of library materials, dealing with general enquiries, journal management, processing new book acquisitions, preparing material for Moodle and re-shelving books.

The successful candidate will be educated to 'A' level or equivalent and will have previous experience of working in an academic library, ideally with experience of operating an automated library system. Computer literacy is essential together with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

A demonstrable interest in one of the languages and culture taught at the Faculty would be advantageous.
