As a result of the new information point, library staff reconnected with stakeholders who do not frequent the physical Library and received many more enquiries than in previous years.

An online project database
Nicholas Cutler - Computer Laboratory
Expand and zoom Computer Lab - Library Projects Database
This describes the design and implementation of an online database of undergraduate project reports. Each year the computer laboratory library receives around 70 undergraduate project reports for which it would be inappropriate to create MARC catalogue records in Voyager. Accordingly, a simple database system which may be searced from a web form was designed and built. Crucially, the database could be populated from other records kept in the department, and replaces the previous printed lists used in the library.
