Cambridge University Library has been collecting books of all kinds for more than 600 years. Today, we hold over eight million items, ranging from ancient clay tablets, illuminated manuscripts and early printed books, to electronic journals, e-books and digital archives. This session offers a chance to see some of the extremes of the collection: a few of the biggest, smallest, oldest and newest items in our holdings.

Part of the Cambridge Festival of Ideas.
