Claire Sewell

Claire Sewell is the Research Support Librarian for the Physical Sciences at the University of Cambridge. In this role she oversees the support offered to the research community across the disciplines and specialises in developing innovative, point of need training initiatives.

Claire received her MSc in Library and Information Studies from the University of Aberystwyth in 2013, achieved CILIP Chartership in 2014 and a PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in 2021. She is a Past President of SLA Europe (2022).

Her current research focuses on the role of the librarian in teaching, reflective practice as an educational tool and the skills needed to work in scholarly communication roles.
