Library users eating lunch in the University Library Tea Room

We know the Tea Room at the University Library is an important place for many of you.

Over the decades it’s been more than a coffee stop – dissertations, articles, conference papers and novels have been worked on there, and it’s seen countless numbers through supervisions, study breaks and the odd recovery breakfast.

We're sorry we’re unable to provide a catering service in the building at the moment; the pandemic has been a really tough time for the hospitality sector. We’re working hard to bring in another service, and trying to think creatively and innovatively about how to provide this.

As part of the process, we want to understand your Tea Room needs and preferences!

We recently asked you to complete a short survey to let us know your thoughts, and we'll use your responses to identify key priorities.

Thank you to everyone who responded!
