For Quaternary Research, established in 1995 to bring together all of those involved in diverse aspects of Quaternary Research in Cambridge. Named for Sir Harry Godwin, Reader in Quaternary Research, 1948-60 and Professor of Botany, 1960-68. Replaced by Cambridge Quaternary (the Cambridge Institute of Quaternary Research: CQ) in 1995.
