Our Registration office is closed for in-person appointments and all registrations, and enquiries about registration, will be completed remotely. You can contact us via registration@lib.cam.ac.uk.

Current University of Cambridge members:

All members of the University of Cambridge are welcome to use the Library. Please note that you may need to bring some supporting documentation on your first visit, see ‘Eligibility’ for full details. If you are unsure if your card is activated or have other enquiries about your Library membership, please email registration@lib.cam.ac.uk.

Registration for visiting scholars at Cambridge University can be completed remotely. Please see our zero contact registration pages for more details.

Other Library users:

Remote renewals and new registrations are currently available for all users.

In order to maintain resilient services that support current students and researchers at the University during this very restrictive time, it has been necessary to limit the availability of some services. Whilst we normally welcome visitors accompanied by library members into the library, our current arrangements sadly don’t allow for this.
