Open windows on an Italian villa

This November, research-active staff across the University are invited to join us in conversation about the vision for Open Research at Cambridge, to help shape the ways our institution can work more openly in the future.

The Open Research at Cambridge Conference takes place online between 22-26 November 2021 and is a chance for members of the University to discuss opportunities to maximise the reach of our research. Explore ways we can approach all stages of our research practice more openly, to facilitate collaboration and the incremental growth of ideas – from the inception of a research project through to sharing it with the world.

Speakers and colleagues from research departments, libraries, publishing and museums will focus on practices that promote openness in research, including open access books, data reuse, narrative CVs, reproducibility and public engagement.

Discover the Open Research at Cambridge Conference programme which will run online throughout the week, and book your place now.

‘I encourage you to attend if you have the opportunity, and help us shape the ways Cambridge can work more openly in the future.’

(Professor Anne Ferguson-Smith, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research)
