Cambridge University Library registration for study school students
To ensure efficient service during busy periods, study school students must be registered as a group, through their programme coordinators. This group registration helps us manage high demand and maintain access for all library users.
Registered study school students have access to study spaces, collections, and desktop services whilst in the University Library. They will not have borrowing privileges or access to electronic resources off-site.
Registration for groups of students is processed upon the study school coordinator's request, in advance of their visit. Each student library card will grant access for one year.
Information for students
14 days before your visit, please select your status as a student and complete the form below. You will receive an email notification when your card is available to be collected from the Reader Services Desk in the Entrance Hall. You will need to bring photo ID (such as a passport, driving license or study school registration card) on your first visit to the Library. If your school doesn't appear in the drop down, please contact your programme coordinator.
Information for coordinators
To register your study school, please select your status as a coordinator and complete the form below. Once this has been confirmed, we will add your school to the drop-down box on the study school student registration form, and provide payment instructions. Payment must be made in advance, either online or at the Reader Services Desk by cash, cheque or card. The charge for study schools external to the University is £30 per student. You will then be able to direct your students to complete the student registration form.
