Local catalogues

The University Library's physical and electronic holdings are served by a number of catalogues.  These are listed below.  Please note that it is not necessary to include diacritics when performing searches.

There are some specific rules regarding searching for material in the French language: Entry of a French compound surname is under the first part of the compound name e.g. Restif de la Bretonne, Nicolas Edme. The definite and undefinite articles are usually omitted.

- provides a single union catalogue for physical items in libraries across Cambridge
- searches subscribed eresources including ebooks, journals and databases, open access items in the University’s institutional repository and the electronic legal deposit collection
