PRICE INCREASE from 1st August
With effect from 1st August 2017, requests for Inter-Library Loan will be charged at the following prices per item:
All renewals, regardless of lender, will incur a £5.00 renewal fee. In the event that we are unable to acquire the material, a full refund will be issued.
The University Library offers an Inter-Library Loan service which provides access to material not held within Cambridge University.
A wide variety of printed and microform material can be obtained from the British Library and other Libraries within the UK and overseas, including:
- Books (and chapters from books)
- Journal articles (and loan of whole issues)
- Conference papers
- Selected microforms
Anyone who has access to the University Library may use this service. The fee for an Inter-Library Loan request is currently £3.00 for members of Cambridge University and £6.00 for all other readers. Payment can be made in cash or by cheque made payable to "University of Cambridge".
To submit an Inter-Library Loan request, simply visit us in the West Room, or print out and complete a copy of the approporiate request form and send it to us with a cheque via the University Messenger Service (UMS) to: Inter-Library Loans Department, Cambridge University Library
