An earlier name for the Careers Service. Originally two Boards, one for men and one for women. The men’s board was established by grace of 27 February 1902, the women’s board in 1930, and they amalgamated in 1969/70. The archives of the Board are deposited in the University Archives (classmark: UA APTB), and there is a typescript catalogue of them available in the MSS Room at the University Library (In.22), with a list of salient dates prefixed. The board also reported on its first twenty-five years’ work, to 27 February 1927, in Cambridge University Reporter, 1926-27, 1035-42.
