The Research Services Division was created on March 1 2000. It combines the Research Collaboration Office (formerly the Research Grants and Contracts Section) with the Technology Transfer Office (formerly the Wolfson Industrial Liaison Office) to create a single organisation dealing with technology transfer and the University's external research funding from industry, research councils, the European Union and from charitable trusts and foundations.
