How to make a request

Please contact the Inter-Library Loans team, providing us with all the relevant citation information and whether you require a loan or a copy. Libraries will need to quote their British Library Billing Account number and provide us with a reference number for each request. Multi-volume works will require a request number per volume.

Loan Terms and Conditions

Cambridge University Library offers a six week loan period from the date of dispatch, but all items are subject to recall if required by a Cambridge user. All loans are strictly "for use in library only", but in most cases copying is permitted if undertaken by a member of library staff and adheres to UK Copyright Law. Copying permissions are easily identified by our coloured wrapper - Green for 'yes' - Red for 'no'.

We are also happy to offer renewals at no extra charge, providing the item has not been recalled. Please contact us by email if a renewal is required.
