Views.Cantab.1-4
These four volumes include a selection of maps and 19th century photographs of Cambridge Colleges. Evidence suggest that some (many?) of the photographs were taken by Robert Cade (1820-1879) a photographer based in Ipswich who visited Cambridge in 1857, meaning that some of the photographs may be earlier than implied by the typescript lists at the front of each volume and may, indeed, date from 1857 and be some of the earliest photographs of some of the Colleges. (We are indebted to Robin Walker, Estate Bursar, Queens' College for this insight)

Note that the lists are photographs of the typed lists – compiled some years ago – that are in the front of each volume and so do not reflect the latest findings.
