Map History / History of Cartography. THE Gateway to the subject. Lots of invaluable information on, e.g. events, fellowships and prizes, map collecting and collections, online images of maps and much more. Includes section entitled Books to get you into the Subject.

Intute. National JISC-funded free service for UK Higher Education providing access to web resources for education and research. All material is evaluated and selected by a network of subject specialists to create the Intute database. Try searching, for example, for 'cartography'. No new information added since July 2011.

** Items ordered before 12.45 on Friday can be consulted in the Munby Rare Books Reading Room. No fetching or transferring is possible on Saturdays. Please contact the Map Room to discuss your requirements.
