Enquiries relating to visiting the library to consult collections should be sent to specialcollections@lib.cam.ac.uk. More specialist enquiries relating to collections for the attention of curators can be sent to specialcollections@lib.cam.ac.uk or to the individual curators listed below.
Curatorial staff
Members of the department each have curatorial responsibility for particular collections. They are responsible for all aspects of collection development in their specialist areas including appraisal, selection, description and cataloguing. Curatorial staff will respond to detailed enquiries about their collections. They share responsibility for promoting our collections to all Library users and to the wider academic and public communities through a range of activities including delivering and supporting teaching based around collection material, collaborating with academics in collections-based research, developing digital resources and participating in outreach events and exhibitions.
We would be happy to hear from academic staff in the University and beyond who would be interested in creating teaching sessions using manuscript and archival material. We would also be happy to hear from researchers interested in developing research projects based around our collections.
