Once you have signed in to the Deposit Service you will see a screen showing an area for deposit of your files, as shown in the screenshot below.

  • Click the white arrow in a green circle
  • Click upload files. You will now see a screen prompting you to select files to deposit, as shown in the screenshot below.

  • Click the link labelled Click here to add files next to the paper clip icon to view the directories on your computer
  • Select the file or files you wish to upload
  • Click Open to upload files to the Deposit Service
  • Continue until all the files you wish to transfer have been uploaded- remember to include a list or spreadsheet of the files
  • Please do not close or refresh your browser until the list of files in your deposit has updated, or your upload may fail and need to be restarted
  • It is possible to sort the list of files by clicking on one of the column headings (e.g., original filename, last modified)
  • It is possible to take a screenshot as an optional record of the files you have uploaded

Note that uploading very big files and/or large numbers of individual files may take some time depending on the speed of your internet connection, for example: uploading a 100MB file at an upload speec of 10 MB/second will take 1 minute and 20 seconds, uploading a 1GB file at an upload speec of 10 MB/second will take 13 minutes and 20 seconds.
